This poor pregnant bitch was getting by on the street alone. There she was found by our helpers Jasmin and Filipe, brought to the vet and then taken home because we had no space in the PLACE for STRAYS. The initial examination at the veterinarian showed that the poor mouse suffered from mange and had to be showered 2-3 times a week with a special healing shampoo. A blood test also showed that she had tick bite fever. However, she could not be treated for this until her pups were born and were no longer receiving breast milk. CLARA, as she was called by Jasmin and Filipe, stayed with them for care until our quarantine station was free. Of course, we took care of the medical care from now on. And Elena stood by the two with words and deeds. By now she had experience as a midwife. When the puppies were old enough, they moved together with Clara to our PLACE for STRAYS and developed wonderfully there. Little by little we found just the right, loving families for all dwarfs and mothers in which they now live happily.
