Our collaboration partners

No animal protection project can work successfully on its own. It takes many supporters who work hand in hand on the same goal to pull together. So we at PLACE for STRAYS also have reliable collaboration partners with whom we work together in a spirit of trust.

ALGARVET

With the veterinarians of ALGARVET we have very competent and reliable collaboration partners at our side. The doctors treat our dogs in their practice, but also on the grounds of the PLACE for STRAYS. The latter especially if, for example, the vaccinations or treatments for many dogs at the same time.

There is hardly any daytime or nighttime when ALGARVET can not be reached in case of an emergency. With great commitment, they make a significant contribution to reducing animal suffering on the Portuguese Algarve. And we and the animals are very grateful for that.

Pata Ativa

Pata Ativa is a non-profit Portuguese association dedicated to animal welfare, nature and the promotion of healthy living habits.

This regional very well-known association receive daily many reports of animal emergencies. Volunteers from “Pata Ativa” rescue these animals. They catch them or negotiate with ignorant owners about their release. If necessary, the police or the veterinary office will be called in.

Once dogs have been rescued, they are either placed directly in foster homes or taken in our PLACE for STRAYS.

We are very proud to be able to work together with this prestigious organization.

Solange Dias – The “cat lady” of Albufeira

“Mobile Fellnasen” (mobile fur noses)

After completing her training as a canine physiotherapist, our team member Claudia Maier founded Mobile Fellnasen and is available to our foster stations and nursing pets around Bad Vilbel in Germany with valuable tips, exercises and treatments. We are happy to have Claudia on our team.

She enriches our work together with her specialist knowledge and commitment.

And of course Claudia’s competence is also available to all other animal lovers. Get in touch with her!
