Kiara was born in a hole in the ground with her 8 siblings and was hungry, thirsty and full of fleas when she was rescued. An animal welfare organization took in the puppies and sterilized the mother-bitch. Since the animal shelter had no place for the puppies, they looked for help and found her, among other things. with us. We took in four of the puppies, including Kiara. Kiara and one of her brothers (Nemo) were particularly scared. It took them a lot of time to get used to the new situation and us humans. At a certain point in time, the decision was made to give three of the puppies to a foster home. There they should learn to trust and develop into self-confident dogs. We found a foster home for Kiara in Portugal – with Aleksandra. After three weeks the first progress became apparent and Kiara slowly developed further. The cute mouse grew so fond of Aleksandra that she wanted to be without her even more and adopted her.
